On the heels of a win in debate number one, the McCain video ad geniuses have taken to their editing bays again.

Given that Obama didn't even know the name of the soldier who's mother had "given him the bracelet to wear" in his famous "me too" moment (and now comes word that the soldier's family had asked Obama to remove the bracelet previous to the debate), McCain's ad gurus have released what is SOON to be a HUGE hit:

In an exclusive to the Weekly Standard former Sec. Kissinger made it clear - he was NOT pleased that Obama had lied about his position on the issue of Iran in the evening's debate:

He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality."

Team McCain has been faster, more agile and certainly more lethal with their ad production... and they pounced on an opening this big within minutes of the debate's conclusion:

No... I'm not REALLY talking about the Presidential candidates. More like measuring for yourself - what makes the Kind of Man EVERY man SHOULD Be!

Is it just me or is Obama continually drawing similarities between himself and all-powerful dictatorial tyrants - especially when it comes to opposing viewpoints? As the Lovely Bride is reminding me over my shoulders, the first thing totalitarians do is take your right to defend yourself, then they take away your right to speak.

In this new move "candidate" totalitarian Obama is trying to do both in one swift move.

The NRA has released a new ad exposing Obama's record on guns, and now his lawyers are threatening any television stations who air it.

Nice...


The change we need?

So... thanks to some pretty fabulous reporting we now know the timeline of how the Freddine/Fannie tumor began to rupture, (we already knew that Freddie/Fannie were the ultimate cause of this whole mess). And to review - the Bush administration began voicing concerns as far back as 2001, then in 2003 about the ballooning of Freddie/Fannie, and calling for oversight and accountability. But NOOOOOOO Barney Frank, and the Dems slap the admin on the hand and call it fear-mongering.

Then in 2006 John McCain called for legislation and authored such to hold the two accountable. But Democrats opposed it in committee by party-line vote.


And since he's been in office - Obama has received $105,000 in money from Freddie/Fannie - trailing only John Kerry and Chris Dodd.

In fact here's the top five:
1. Christopher Dodd - $133,000
2. John Kerry - $111,000
3. Barack Obama - $105,849
4. Hillary Clinton - $75,500
5. Paul Kanjorski - $65,500

According to campaign personnel that were with Senator McCain ALL MORNING this morning, Barack Obama neither spoke with John McCain this morning (as he clearly implied he did in his press conference this morning) nor did he give the McCain camp ANY indication of what he wanted to discuss as it related to the economic crisis.

Stunning amount of lies... er spin... for Barry to make in his adjunct, deer in the headlights, presser this afternoon!

John McCain has also pulled down ALL campaign ads, suspended all fund-raising, AND canceled appearances on David Letterman, along with a FoxNews Special that had been planned with Carl Cameron.

AGAIN: McCain comes off looking like he is sacrificing his OWN interests for the good of the American people.

Obama played this wrong - and got caught in reaction mode AGAIN!

Sometimes liberals never learn...

Ok so McCain is pulling his ads off, closing up shop and going to Washington to get something done on the crisis.

But when asked directly if he would consider pulling his attack ads, and go to Washington he responds...

1. The people WANT to see my ads... (LOL!)

2. If Congress feels I can be helpful, and they ask - then I will go...
(And since Harry Ried and Nancy Pelosi have both said that any legislative solution is dead on arrival right now... I mean if they end up NOT calling Obama - was it because he was unneeded or better yet unimportant to the process?)

Michelle Obama told news media to tell the American people not to vote for "her" because she's cute. (Obviously meaning the only woman on the actual ticket of either party - Sarah Palin.)

Realizing once again that she had been a malodorous oaf, she quickly retorts when asked, "I'm talking about me!"

That's the thing about elitists, they don't even know or realize why people begin thinking of them as pigs with lipstick!

So in response to my earlier post, a number of people on my facebook list took great umbrage to the assertions that Barack Obama's ACTIONS are at odds with his CLAIMS of Christianity.

One lady, who I love very much, even said:

I am an evangelical Christian and I am disgusted by tactics of the far-right in the name of Jesus. When did Christians ever trust in their government to carry their values? Germany lost their way by marrying the two. We have only thrived and grown in the world faithfully when our voice is a minority. That is why the church is growing in Africa ...  Read Moreand Asia. Thee know what it is to live faithfully and not expect the government to do it for them. When we think we can force our beliefs in a theocracy, we get lost from the way of Jesus. Obama is not the anti-Christ, and Palin is not the savior. But Satan sure is using the division between Christians to get by with distracting the church away from saving souls. I won't have it. And you shouldn't either, cuz. Some trust in horses and chariots . . .but we will trust in the Lord our God.

My response:

Dear Cousin,

I'm sorry to disgust you. I assume also that you label me the "far-right".

But as to your questions:

1. Christians should never trust in government to "carry their values." Our founding fathers sure didn't - they suspected government to be run by corrupt and incompetent people. They also believed that our representative republic would only be great as long as it sought God. The distrust they had for government was why the three branches were established with the checks and balances in place.

2. Germany DID NOT marry Christianity and government. Hitler was no more a practicing Christian than Saddam Hussein. And to say so is specious. If you want to discuss genuine Christianity in WWII Germany then do me a favor and read Bonhoeffer - then talk to me about Christian action in a culture filled with corruption and evil.

3. The church HAS thrived under persecution true. But it does not give us permission to abandon our Biblical responsibility in this time to render to Caesar (fulfill our obligations) in the society where WE are in fact Caesar. If horrific laws get written in our nation - it's not the fault of some disembodied dictator or tyrant removed from us. It is one of us. We pass the laws, judge those who break them, etc.

4. Division is not a bad thing. It actually clarifies to a great degree the quality of our ideas, and sharpens us one to another - as we are instructed to in scripture. The truth that Jesus is Lord is offensive to some on its merits. Does this mean we abandon every tool at our disposal to bring Him to them? No! But it does not change the fact that man is rebellious and some will reject.

5. You have erred in your judgment as to what I trust in. I am a mere sinner cuz. A sinner that has only by God's grace and mercy been allowed a relationship with the God who created me. And in doing so my confidence is in HIM not in me - nor any politician.

Having said all of that, I know a thing or two about Barack Obama. I followed him and covered his actions well when I used to broadcast in Chicago. His record is that of a pure leftist. He voted in favor of allowing down's syndrome babies to starve without grace, and ignored the pleadings of the nurse who uncovered the practice for mercy. He did so for pure political pragmatism within the Chicago political machine. Freddoso's book nailed him on it. Jill Stanek - an honorable and Godly woman was the nurse who uncovered it told her story first on my show. She is no liar, just a woman who had to endure tremendous persecution to tell the truth. And paid for it with her job.

He has vowed to make the (FOCA) freedom of choice act the first law he signs - thus undoing every limitation we've put on abortion in the past twenty years.

He has vowed to undo the "Defense of Marriage Act" on the federal level, and has stood with the activist judges in California who sought to overturn that state's population's voice in defining marriage as an institution between a man and a woman.

And he voted - READ THE BILL - to allow sex ed for K-12. READ IT Cuz, don't take my word for it...

Cuz I'm grateful for your love for the Savior. But I can not allow untruths to stand - when a great many are being deceived.

There is no Savior but Christ. HIS text is the final authority. My life is lived in gratitude for what he has given to me that I did not deserve.

And I would not love you, nor be expressing His love for anyone else if I did anything other than tell the truth, I pray, with humility.

I'm just a broken man Cuz. But I too love the Savior...
